THE GOING GREEN FILM FESTIVAL
TO RUN APRIL 1-30 ON ROKU

LOS ANGELES, MARCH 30, 2015 — The Going Green Film Festival launches it’s film festival on ROKU. The festival runs April 1-30, 2015.

“We’re very excited at quality of films and the variety of countries represented,” festival founder Patrice Williams comments. “Roku is a perfect platform for exposing these amazing films to a wide and diverse audience. Selected films include documentaries, dramas and comedies.”

The films are free to view for the month of April only. To view:

1. You must have a ROKU player connected to your television.
2. Log in using your Roku Username and Password
3. Go to: https://owner.roku.com/add/mibtp
4. You have now added the Going Green Film Festival Channel to Your Lineup
5. Open the Roku Channel Store to find the added channel. NOTE: You may need to force your channel list to update for the channel to appear in your Channels list. To do this, go to the Settings menu and select System update. Otherwise, it may take 24 hours to show.

The Going Green Film Festival launched in 2010 as a way to encourage and reward green filmmaking, as well as educate filmmakers on the necessity of lowering their carbon footprint on this planet.

The Going Green Film Festival is a fundraiser for the Minorities in Broadcasting Training Program.
